Marietta police say two men are facing burglary charges after a two month investigation into a series of copper thefts.
According to Marietta police, John Riley and Stanley Ledford are facing a host of charges after being caught stealing copper at a Georgia Power facility located on Sands Place early Tuesday morning. They say evidence collected at the scene links both men to seven burglaries at five different locations.
Riley and Ledford face four counts of burglary in connection with three Marietta locations. Additional charges may come once the investigation is complete, say police.
Anyone with information on the case is urged to call the Marietta Police Department at 770-794-5345.
