DeKalb County police are looking for the killer of a teenager who was gunned down in a neighborhood near Lithonia on Tuesday night. The shooting happened at around 8 p.m. on Heritage Park Trail at Heritage Walk on Raven Circle.
According to police, 16-year-old Fredrick English and two other people were walking along Heritage Walk when they were approached by a black car. Someone got out of the car and fired at the group, hitting English.
Police say English ran a short distance to another street and collapsed in the front yard of a home. A person at that home found English and drove him to the hospital where he later died.
No suspects have been identified in the case. The shooting remains under investigation.
