BARROW COUNTY, Ga. -
A 4-year-old boy died after falling out of the back of a truck and being run over in Auburn, Ga. on Monday, according to police.
An HVAC worker was giving two children a ride in the back of his company truck in an apartment complex on Mount Moriah Road when the accident occurred just before 7 p.m. The boy fell off of the vehicle and was run over by the truck, according to Sgt. Diana Campbell of the Auburn Police Department.
It was not clear if the children were in the cargo area of the truck, or if they were on the bumper, Campbell said.
The driver of the truck was a family member of the deceased child, police confirmed.
No charges are expected to be filed, according to Campbell.
