BREMEN, Ga. -

Hundreds came together in prayer Friday night at Haralson County High School after the district banned school sanctioned prayer after the threat of a lawsuit from Wisconsin-based organization.

That organization believes the prayers violates students' First Amendment Rights. Last year, the organization Freedom From Religion Foundation sent the Haralson County School Board a letter notifying them that the traditional pregame prayer before football games is unconstitutional.  The school board then pulled the prayer beginning this football season.

The Haralson County Rebels played their first home game of the season Friday. While there was no school sponsored prayer, may students and parents organized prayer circles and wore tee shirts in support of prayer.
