A wreck on Interstate 285 near Camp Creek sent a car into a tractor trailer Friday afternoon.

The fatal accident on Interstate 285 near Camp Creek snarled evening traffic on Friday.
ATLANTA -
One person is dead and at least a half dozen other injured after a four vehicles crash on Interstate 285 near Camp Creek Parkway Friday night.
Troopers with the Georgia State Patrol say that the accident happened sometime after 5:30 p.m. in the inner loop of Interstate 285 near Camp Creek Parkway. They say that a car made contact with an SUV which struck yet another vehicle. One of the cars ended up in the path of tractor trailer.
At least six people were injured in the crash. Troopers have not yet released the name of those involved.
The Georgia State Patrol continues to investigate the accident.
