A police chase came to a crashing end in northwest Atlanta early Friday morning.

COBB COUNTY, Ga. -

A police chase came to a crashing end in northwest Atlanta early Friday morning.

Police say the suspect took off during a traffic stop near Interstate 20 and Fulton Industrial Boulevard in Cobb County.

Cobb County police chased the driver into Atlanta, where they say he crashed the vehicle on Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive. The car caught on fire.

It is not clear if the suspect was injured.
