CHARLOTTE, N.C. -
Some of our local police officers are in Charlotte this week helping with security, traffic, and crowd control during the Democratic National Convention.
The Clayton County SWAT unit is among those officers and has been making quite an impression in the city.
Camera caught up with some of those officers directing traffic around the convention.
The officers appeared to be enjoying themselves almost dancing their directions to motorists.
They say they are trying to make the best of the situation since they are not typically on traffic duty back home.
Many gathered on the sidewalk to watch and take pictures of the officers literally performing their duties.
