A local chain of stores that was busted by the Feds and raided repeatedly by police for selling bath salts is allegedly at it again.
The manager of those stores, Serena Berkard, was arrested Tuesday and charged with selling drugs to an undercover agent.
Police say they have warned Burkard in writing and in person again and again.
FOX 5's Justin Gray came face-to-face with her last month. She was so bold about selling the bath salts at the time that she called police when someone stole them, but this time she was the one arrested.
The Smoke 911 store in Roswell is open for business this week, despite the chain's manager being arrested. Police say they have been called to Smoke 911 repeatedly since bath salts became illegal last spring.
FOX 5 tried to talk to Michael Madlen, the owner of the Smoke 911 stores and Berkard's boyfriend, but nobody answered at either of the homes the couple owns.
The Federal agencies that raided Smoke 911 last month are still working on their investigation, but local authorities in Cherokee County say they have lots of officers who can go undercover. If they continue to hear allegations about the business illegally selling drugs, they will keep busting them.
