Waffle House Museum declared historic site

Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA -

Did you know the week of Labor Day is also National Waffle Week? Good Day Atlanta is celebrating this event with a visit to the Waffle House Museum!

This Saturday, a dedication will be held at the museum since it has been declared a Georgia Historic Site. Why? It's the site of the very first Waffle House, built in 1955, and that's where we find Paul Milliken with a look at the upcoming event!

The museum is free to the public from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 8. Otherwise, call 770.326.7086 to make an appointment at least 48 hours in advance.
