Get Up and Go's destination for Tuesday is just outside the top end perimeter. It's the city of Sandy Springs and the Sandy Springs United Methodist Church for Movies at Moonlight!
This Friday night the annual outdoor Movies by Moonlight series gets underway with Dr. Suess's The Lorax. Take a blanket, take a picnic dinner, and watch the movie on a big screen on the lawn of the Hitson Activity Center.
Entertainment gets underway around 6 p.m. and the movie starts at dusk. The free Movies by Moonlight series continues each Friday night in September at Sandy Springs United Methodist Church on Mt. Vernon Highway.
