Ga. Tech safety initiative aims to educate students

With crime on and around Atlanta's college campuses a top concern, student leaders at Georgia Tech are joining the efforts to make their campus safer. Beginning Tuesday, they're putting on a weeklong safety campaign aimed at educating other students.
The focus will be on personal safety and programs available to help students.
A leader with the student government said that Georgia Tech is safe, but problems happen.
Each day of the safety initiative safety campaign will focus on a different issue, including transportation, theft, alcohol use, and personal safety.
