SAVANNAH, Ga. -

A flag dedicated to the memory of victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks is on display at a Savannah hotel.

The giant flag -- measuring 22-by-32 feet -- arrived Friday at the Hyatt Regency Savannah in conjunction with the annual convention of the Supreme Emblem Club of the U.S. The flag will remain on display in the downtown Savannah hotel's lobby until next Friday.

The 9/11 memorial flag is made up of 2,983 miniature American flags -- each representing a victim of the 2001 terrorist attacks. The flag has traveled across the U.S. and abroad over the past decade to be displayed at more than 75 locations. It is scheduled to make its final home at the Sept. 11 museum at ground zero in New York.
