Bomb squad technicians were in southeast Atlanta where someone discovered a hand grenade.

ATLANTA -

Bomb squad technicians were in southeast Atlanta where someone discovered a hand grenade.

Atlanta police say the grenade was found Friday morning in the 2900 block of Delmar Lane. After crews examined the grenade, it was determined to be a harmless replica.

Delmar Lane was blocked off while police investigated. It has since been re-opened.
