It may seem like sports and sci-fi are taking over Atlanta this weekend but there is another option for the family. This Saturday, Sunday and Monday, the city of Marietta is hosting Art in the Park.
This Marietta tradition will fill the Marietta Square and Glover Park.
There will be artists from across the county displaying and selling their work. Kids will have their own kid's alley with special make and take art projects. And you don't want to miss the famous art in the park painted pots.
There is something new this year. It's the Art Car Palooza with decorated cars and contraptions alongside customized classic cars, hot rods and low riders.
Marietta's 26th Annual Art in the Park is Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the historic Marietta Square and in Glover Park. Admission and parking are free.
