Police canvass neighborhood for clues in Grant Park murder

David McReynolds was murdered in Grant Park.

ATLANTA -

The Atlanta homicide unit conducted a neighborhood canvasses on Thursday in hopes of generating leads on a murder in Grant Park.

Officers with several units fanned out in an area along Hill Street and Grant Park.

They were searching for clues in the July shooting death of David McReynolds.

The 54-year-old was found dead on the sidewalk not long after leaving a neighborhood supermarket.

Police have released surveillance video from inside the neighborhood grocery store with persons of interest in the case.
