A woman in Cherokee County has died after being struck by her own vehicle on Wednesday afternoon.
Canton police say that 69-year-old Mary Cantrell was critically injured after her car rolled back and hit her while in the 200 block of Towering Peaks just before 2:30 p.m. Thursday. She was flown to Grady Memorial Hospital with massive trauma to the head and body.
Police say she was taken off life support and died Thursday afternoon.
