A car crash near Decatur Square left hundreds of businesses and residents without power Thursday afternoon.
SKYFOX 5 flew over the 400 block of W. Ponce De Leon Avenue around 1:15 p.m., just minutes after emergency crews arrived on-scene to a car that hit a lamp post.
Several FOX 5 viewers reported the power going out following the accident. Georgia Power said less than 400 of their customers were left in the dark. They say that crews have been dispatched to help restore power in the area.
No word on injuries or what caused the crash. The Decatur Police Department is investigating the incident.
