Tractor-trailer, chemical spill closes ramp to Jimmy Carter Blvd - Atlanta News, Weather, Traffic, and Sports | FOX 5

The ramp from Interstate 85 northbound to Jimmy Carter Boulevard was closed due to a chemical spill after a tractor trailer accident Thursday.

The Georgia Department of Transportation that the accident happened on the ramp. The accident and resulting spill snarled traffic during the noon time rush.

SKYFOX 5 flew over the scene and showed HERO units, police and fire crews working the scene. Fire crews worked to wash down and clean the chemicals.

No injuries were reported by emergency officials.
