Task force submits Cobb school proposal

COBB COUNTY, Ga. -

Cobb County students should learn its school calendars for the next two years soon.

A 21 member task force presented a proposed calendar draft to Superintendent Dr. Michael Hinijosa on Wednesday.

The group has narrowed down the divisive issue from dozens to just one proposal.

The draft calendar for 2013 has school starting August 1 and ending May 24 with a couple of weeklong breaks in between.

The superintendent will make the final decision in September.
