ATLANTA -

Republicans officially nominated Mitt Romney as their presidential candidate on Tuesday night, but it appears his wife Ann charmed the Republican National Convention with her speech!

According to the Associated Press, the hall erupted in cheers when Romney strolled onto the stage and shared a kiss with his wife of more than 40 years.

She said her husband would not let anybody down if elected.

The AP reports "her appearance meant to cast her multimillionaire-businessman-turned-politician husband in a soft and likable light before a national TV audience."
