This is the third reported wrong-way crash reported by FOX 5 News in the last two weeks. Both of those happened on Georgia Highway 400 and unlike Saturday's crash, both ended up killing at least one of the drivers.
Atlanta police say during the early morning hours of August 15th, 24-year-old Frampere Ingle entered the northbound lanes of Georgia 400 while traveling south on Lenox Road. The second incident happened nine days later and about five miles north, Sandy Springs police say 22-year-old Carlyn Emily Royball of Alpharetta was traveling north in the southbound lanes of Georgia 400 when she struck a car driven by Kelly Stevens near Roberts Drive. Royball was killed as a result of the accident. Stevens, who is the co-host of the popular radio morning show, The Vikki and Kelly Show on 98.5, was injured, but is expect to recover.
