Student who shot self at Banks Co. High School dies

HOMER, Ga. -

The Banks County teenager who shot himself inside of a school bathroom Friday has died.

FOX 5 News has learned that the 15-year-old Lula boy died early Saturday morning. He had been rushed to the hospital Friday after shooting himself in what school officials called "a suicide attempt."

Investigators still do not know the boy's motive behind shooting himself.
