A special ceremony was held on Friday honoring Congressman John Lewis. A mural called "Hero" was dedicated to Lewis, who has served the people of the 5th Congressional District since 1987.
Lewis is considered the dean of the Georgia congressional delegation and a leader in the civil rights movement.
The mural is located at the corner of Auburn Avenue and Jesse Hill, Jr. Drive.
