It's a music festival with two entertainment stages featuring more than 30 bands and performers. It is also an arts and crafts festival with hundreds of artists showing and selling their work.
And it is definitely a kid's festival! The kid's zone features storytellers and puppet shows, things to make and songs to sing, a climbing wall and a bungee jump, if you dare!
The 10th annual Grant Park Summer Shade Festival is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
