Raul Maldonado-Lopez, 29, was a passenger in a pickup truck that was caught up in a multi-vehicle accident last near the Chattahoochee River Bridge last Thursday.
Maldonado-Lopez was a member of at Iglesia Asamblea Church in Clarkston for a decade, where he was a church musician and youth leader.
Church pastor Leoncio Romero will lead a memorial service for Maldonado-Lopez on Wednesday.
"We're going to miss him. We know he is in a better place, but still, we're going to miss for all time because it's a good member of our church," said Romero.
The impact of the sudden loss continues for the 400 member church, which has been in Clarkston for 18 years.
"You know it's that kind of person. If you say we want to do this, he never say no -- he always say yes," said Romero.
Church Members said they will not forget his inspiration.
"We know he is in a good place. He go with God, Heaven. That's what we know," said Romero.
Raul's mother and brothers and a sister are in Mexico, where his funeral service is to take place, Romero said.
