Police are investigating allegations that a high school cheerleading squad took part in a strip game at a coach's home.
Marion Hunter, who taught science and coached the varsity cheerleading team at Lovejoy High School, resigned after the allegations surfaced.
School officials said that back in July, a cheerleader complained after allegedly having to take part in a strip game a Hunter's home.
According to a police report, the cheerleaders were at the coach's home for a sleepover. At Hunter's suggestion, they played a game called "Judge and Jury."
"It's kind of like a ‘Truth or Dare' situation, only they're setting these new cheerleaders up. The veteran cheerleaders are setting up the new cheerleaders because there is no way, under the rules of the game, to give a correct answer," said David Waller of Clayton County Schools.
The police report states that Hunter said she didn't look when the girls took off their clothes.
"It is hazing. That's why when anything like this is reported, we step in immediately," said Waller.
Hunter was in her second year at the school. Officials said they have learned that she allegedly had cheerleaders take part in the game last year as well.
The investigation is ongoing. No charges have been filed yet.
