FULTON COUNTY, Ga. -
A chase after a stolen vehicle ended in a high-speed crash on Tuesday, and it appears the occupants of one of the two vehicles involved were teenagers.
Sources tell FOX 5 that College Park police initiated a chase after a stolen vehicle, and they were assisted by Fulton County police and the Georgia State Patrol. The chase ended on Godby Street, where a late model vehicle and an SUV collided. It is not known which of the two vehicles was stolen.
Leah Taylor says a high school friend of hers was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved, and he had tweeted her that he needed a ride after missing a bus.
"I guess he talkin' about for a ride, and the car was stolen and didn't know he got into a wreck. And I guess the man who was driving got out of the driver's seat and he ran," said Taylor.
Police have released few details on the chase.
