FOX News is reporting that the Tonight Show with Jay Leno has cut its staff, and Jay Leno has taken a pay cut to help save other staffers from losing their jobs.
NBC made the cuts to trim back expenses on the show, according to FOX News.
Several other Tonight Show staffers also took pay cuts.
The report quotes Leno's spokesman, Bruce Bobbins, as saying "Jay's foremost concern is for the wonderful people who work with him at The Tonight Show. He did what was necessary to ensure their well-being."
