A College Park man has been arrested in connection to the shooting death of a Powder Springs man this weekend.

A spokesperson with the Fulton County Police Department tells FOX 5 News that Marvin Copeland, 46, was arrested for the murder of Daniel Exum, 26, of Powder Springs.

Police say they responded to a business in the 4400 block of Roosevelt Highway around 8:30 a.m. Saturday. Neighbors had reported hearing shots in the area the night before, but no one reported the incident until morning.

Copeland, who is the brother of the owner of the business, had been working at the location at the time of the shooting according to police.

He was booked into the Fulton County Jail on Murder, Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon charges.
