About 125 motorcycle riders showed up Saturday for a benefit for Jordan Strong, Jr.
WOODSTOCK, Ga. -
Motorcycle riders from across the region came out to Woodstock on Saturday for a special ride for a special little boy battling a rare form of muscular dystrophy.
Five-year-old Jordan Strong, Jr. has amazed doctors with the strides he has made, but soon he will be wheelchair-bound.
His family needs help in buying an expensive van with a lift to help get him around.
Jordan's father is a Cherokee County Sheriff's Deputy and Saturday morning, the group called Blue Iron joined them along with several other law enforcement agencies in a benefit motorcycle ride in Woodstock.
Several local businesses donated items for prizes in a raffle.
About 125 bikers showed up to the benefit.
The family has set up an account at all Well Fargo Banks to accept donations from the public.
