Police Need Help In Finding Philly Officer's Killer

Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

Philadelphia Police sources say they have very little information in their search for the person that shot and killed 22nd District Police Officer Moses Walker Jr. early Saturday morning, as he left work.

Investigators are looking for anyone that might have seen or heard the altercation between the officer and the shooter.  Investigators believe the attacker may have tried to rob Walker.

A source tells FOX29 police have spoken with a witness but are also looking for any surveillance video that may provide specific clues.

Lt. Raymond Evers is asking those with information to call the departments Homicide unit at 215-686-3334.

The Department has put up $20,000 for information that leads to an arrest.  The Fraternal Order of Police added another $10,000 for that same goal.
