ATLANTA -
An Atlanta man is dead after being struck by a MARTA train early Saturday morning.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority tells FOX 5 News that Bert Langley, 52, of Atlanta, was in an unauthorized area of the Atlanta Civic Center station on West Peachtree Street around 1:20 a.m. when he was struck by the train.
The train had about 20 passengers aboard at the time. They were taken to another portion of the station to catch a connecting train while authorities investigated the incident.
Service at the station resume later that morning. The incident is still under investigation.
