A group of new homeowners got the keys to their own places on Wednesday after weeks of hard work.
The Southern Crescent chapter of Habitat for Humanity and Georgia Power helped to build the homes in the senior living Riverdale community of Tara Oaks.
Construction started in May. The homes are energy efficient to keep power bills down.
The homeowners had to put in some sweat equity during the construction process.
