Fire crews battled flames at a DeKalb County business, and the blaze cased some traffic troubles in the area. The fire sparked at the Serenity Builders building on North Hairston and Rockbridge Roads in Stone Mountain.
Smoke poured out of the windows as firefighters doused water on the building. They were able to knock down the flames, but the northbound lanes of North Hairston remained closed at 7:30 a.m.
No one was hurt, and crews told FOX 5 the building was actually vacant. The structure suffered heavy damage. There's no word yet on the cause of the fire.
