Clayton Co. school host 'minimum day schedule' forums

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. -
Clayton County parents and students weighted on Tuesday night on a proposal to shorten the Wednesday school day.
Elementary schools would let out an hour early, while middle school students would go home 75 minutes early. High schools would get out an hour and a half early each Wednesday. Teachers would still work a full day.
The forums happened at each of the county's nine high schools. The meeting was an opportunity for educators to address concerns and clarify details of the plan.
