Rain assisted firefighters in putting out most of the fire by 6 p.m.

One firefighter was transported to Atlanta Medical Center after suffering heat-related illness, according to the Atlanta Fire Department.

There was no one inside the building when the blaze broke out. Some nearby residential areas were evacuated as firefighters worked to contain the flames.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

According to Doors Unlimited's website, the business offers a variety of doors for both residential and commercial customers. The business has been open since 1951, according to the website.
