Police shot a man whom they say chased gas station customers with a knife in DeKalb County on Sunday.
DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. -
Police are trying to determine why a man with a knife started chasing customers at a DeKalb County Chevron gas station on Sunday. The store's clerk told FOX 5 that the man bought something, and then pulled a knife.
Investigators say three women ran out of the store and flagged down officer for help at the intersection of Glenwood Road and Austin Drive. Officers told the man to drop his knife, but instead, he came at them. That's when police fired at him.
The man later died at a hospital. Authorities have not released his name.
