Roswell Sikh congregation remembers shooting victims

Posted: Updated:
ROSWELL, Ga. -

The congregation of a Sikh temple in Roswell prayed for Wisconsin shooting victims on Friday.

They said their hearts go out to the families of the victims and the members stand strong in their faith and in their commitment to spread a non-violent message.

They invite people of any religion to come to their temple and learn about the Sikh religion and worship with them.

The congregation says those values include the pursuit of liberty and working hard.

A candlelight prayer vigil will take place tomorrow in downtown Atlanta to honor the shooting victims. It begins at 7:30 p.m. at Centennial Olympic Park.
