Increased security expected at Falcons preseason opener

Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA -

Fan should expect stepped-up security at the Atlanta Falcons preseason opener against the Baltimore Ravens Thursday night at the Georgia Dome.

A stadium spokesman says he isn't allowed to say exactly what those enhanced security measures will be, but he advises fans to arrive early because it may take a little longer for them to enter the stadium.

Parking lots will open at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday; doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Fans without pre-paid parking passes are strongly encouraged to take MARTA to the game.
