Police seek suspect in Lawrenceville burglary - Atlanta News, Weather, Traffic, and Sports | FOX 5

Police are seeking a man who allegedly broke into a house where a 10-year-old boy was home alone.

Officers say they initially stopped Damion Burnell near the crime scene, but let him go because they didn't have enough evidence.

Now with a tipster's help, they've charged him in the case and have warrants out for his arrest.
 
Police believe Burnell and another man used a brick to smash the glass on the backdoor of a Lawrenceville home on July 27.

Christopher King says he was alone inside the home and ran to hide under a bed, where he called 911.

The men tried to take off when they heard the police arrive, but officers managed to arrest 19-year-old D'Andrew Greene.
