A fire at an apartment complex in Sandy Springs forced ten families out of their homes early Sunday morning.
The fire broke out at the Versailles Apartment complex on Roswell Road. The fire was in Building "N" of the complex. Fire investigators believe the fire began when a first-floor resident fell asleep while cooking something on his stove.
Sandy Springs firefighters tells FOX 5 that the man who lived in that apartment was injured, having suffered smoke inhalation. All other residents at home at the time made it out safely.
Four units were lost and another six had smoke damage.
