BOWDON, Ga. -
Get Up and Go is heading about an hour west of Atlanta to Carroll County. Our destination is the city of Bowdon and its founders' day celebration. The festivities begin Friday evening from 5 pm to 9 pm in Heritage Park, but the big party day is Saturday.
It kicks off with a parade that starts at the high school at 10 a.m. Then, enjoy live entertainment all day long at various locations around Bowdon. All singers, dancers, and musicians have volunteered their time and talents so be sure to show your appreciation! There will also be arts and crafts folks on hand showing and selling their wares.
The day wraps up with a fireworks display around 9 pm. The Bowdon Founders' Day celebration is Saturday, August 3, from 9 am to 9 pm. You can find information on the celebration by clicking here
