ALPHARETTA, Ga. -

One couple showed their support for Chick-fil-A by celebrating their 31st anniversary at the restaurant in Alpharetta.

Bret and Marilyn Nave and a group of friends dined in at the restaurant on Windward and Highway 9.

The Naves say they back company president Dan Cathy's right to speak out about his Christian beliefs.

Cathy came under fire after he responded to a question about the company's support of the traditional family.

"We are very much supportive of the family -- the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that," Dan Cathy told the Baptist Press.
