CANTON, Ga. -

Police in Canton say they've arrested the occupants of a home where they say explosive devices were found.

Shortly after the discovery on Monday, police charged a 14-year-old boy at the home with six counts related to having a destructive device.

On Tuesday night, police say they returned to the home north of Atlanta and took two adults into custody.

Police say 49-year-old Brian Howell and 48-year-old Sandra Howell were charged with six counts related to a destructive device and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. It wasn't known Wednesday whether the Howells have attorneys.

A female child inside the residence was turned over to Georgia child protection authorities.

Canton Assistant Police Chief Vande Zande said officers found six explosive devices that could have caused major damage.
