Police: Man shot in apparent botched home invasion - Atlanta News, Weather, Traffic, and Sports | FOX 5

Authorities in Gwinnett County say a man was shot in an apparent botched home invasion on Wednesday.

Police say the man answered a knock at the door of a home on Winthrow Drive and struggled with someone. During the struggle the man was shot in the neck.

While victim drove himself to the hospital he called 911, according to police. They say his injuries are not life threatening.

Police released no other details.
