I-575 crash in Cobb Co. kills 1 person - Atlanta News, Weather, Traffic, and Sports | FOX 5

Police are investigating what led to a crash early Friday morning on Interstate 575 in Cobb County, killing one person.

Police say a person was driving south on I-575 when the car rammed into the guard rail and ran off of the interstate, bursting into flames as it crashed onto Hawkins Store Road below.

Police say they cannot determine if the driver is a man or woman.
    
Interstate 575 and Hawkins Store Road were both shut down but are now back open.
