Cool off this summer by bringing your kayak, canoe or raft to the Chattahoochee River during the 5th Annual Summer Splash on Saturday, July 28, 2012 in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
The six-mile float is from 9 a.m. to noon, but the actual arrival time can be dependent on a number of variables such as whether participants paddle or float, wind speed and the strength of the river's current.
Guests can bring their own kayak, canoe or raft, or rent one from one of the local outfitters like Chattahoochee Outfitters and Up the River Outfitters.
Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken went to Morgan Falls Park in Sandy Springs on Friday and mixed a little business with pleasure while near the water.
