ATLANTA -

Crews worked through the night to repair a water main break that had affected neighborhoods in north Fulton County.

Mt. Vernon Highway in Sandy Springs was reopened early Tuesday morning after crews were able to cap the leak.

The water began leaking around 6 p.m. on Monday. It took crews hours to shut down the water so they could begin the repairs.

Around 50 homes were without water while crews worked to repair the break.
