SNELLVILLE, Ga. -

A family of five, including triplets, was forced out of their house early Saturday morning after a lightning strike sparked a fire.

Gwinnett County fire crews responded to the Windsor Court home just after 12:30 a.m. Saturday. They found fire shooting up through the roof.

It took firefighters about a half hour to get the fire under control. The fire caused damage to the attic and roof.

No one was injured as a result of the fire.

FOX 5 spoke with a neighbor on Saturday afternoon who was bringing gifts for the triplets. They say that it is the trio's birthday.

The Red Cross is also helping the family get back to being resettled.
