LOGANVILLE, Ga. -
Crews in Walton County repaired a water main after it burst early Thursday morning.
The 12-inch pipe sent water shooting into the air near Highway 78 and Mills Street, creating a muddy mess before the water was shut off. Officials say one business in the area was without water.
Crews at the scene say the pipe is located between a bed of rock and Highway 78 above it. They say the road creates a lot of vibration, and they have had problems with the pipe in the past.
Crews were able to repair the break and turn the water back on.
